For the Love of Money

Let’s talk money. Who doesn’t love it? It’s hard not to love money in this world. It’s hard not to be obsessed with money, or more likely, with the stuff we can get with money. But Jesus made it clear to us that we cannot serve both God and money: we will either hate God and love money or hate money and love God.

So, which side of the coin do you fall, pun intended? Can you honestly consider yourself someone who hates money, or more accurately, the love of money?

Cassie's Cherry Lamb Burgers with Rosemary and Balsamic

I want to share a recipe with you this week that I recently came up with. As mentioned in my bio, I love cooking and delving into creativity when it comes to food and flavors. A few nights ago, my parents were craving burgers, and seeing as we had just fresh picked a bowl of tart cherries from our cherry tree outside, I couldn’t resist finding a way to use them for dinner!

Okay fine, I'll admit it. I love essential oils and I love taking baths and I LOVE taking baths with essential oils somehow involved. Lavender is one of my favorite flowers. It reminds me of my dad who was an amazing gardener, smells divine, and helps me with my insomnia and stress.

Mirror Neurons

Here's something uplifting:God gave us these beautiful things called mirror neurons. In short, when we look at someone who is smiling, for example, our mirror neurons mimic that smile, and our brain lights up as if we ourselves were smiling. How cool is that!?
