Wine Soaked Frozen Grapes?!?!


Most of us probably enjoy, or at least know about, the classic frozen grape in the heat of summertime, but have you heard of this twist on that original delicious treat: soaking them in wine first! 

This simple and sweet recipe is perfect for an after dinner dessert, a refreshing picnic pick-me-up, or -- who are we kidding -- whenever you feel like it!

All you need is a bunch of grapes (any color), your favorite sweet wine, and a little bit of sugar if you choose! 

First, wash your grapes. We like soaking them in four parts water, on part white vinegar for about 30 minutes. Next, take a toothpick or fork and poke a few holes in your grapes, then place in a container and cover with wine! Soak for a few hours or overnight, and then pull the grapes out and dust with a little bit of sugar if you want. Let them dry off and then pop 'em in the freezer for at least 4 or 5 hours.
